I did see one way of poetry reading which I thought was no good. A person sat at a table on a stage and read from a laptop screen. Deadly, deadly .

Not so unusual Nev one of the entrants in last years Slam read his poem off his phone.

I suppose the next step will be that somebody will set up their iPod on stage showing a little campfire simulation. Ugh...

Dreadful, Stephen, it's like drinking wine out of plastic cups or putting tomato sauce on chips.

Well, at least the wine and the plastic cups and the tomato sauce and the chips are all real.
