Boyup Brook Written Results

Post by Brenda Joy » Tue Mar 01, 2016 2:51 pm

Hello dear West Australians.
Any results from the written at BB?
If they could be posted to the main website via web@abpa.org.au (that's Greg still) that would be wonderful.
Thanks Irene,
BJ

Thanks Sue and Maureen.

Maureen - you deserve accolades as well - because this poem was yet another that started out its life as a Forum homework piece. That means three of my homework poems have (with minor additions or alterations) gone on to win prizes. As you know, my Kyrielle sonnet resulted in a publishing deal for my recently released book Lady of Lines.

And I have at least one other former homework piece still under judging ...

Without your fortnightly prompts, none of these poems would have ever been written!

THANK YOU AGAIN (yes, it deserves a shout)

Cheers, Shelley

I seem to recall that one of Leonies prize winning poems had a similar kick start as well Shelley  Pleased to know I am good for something - but in fairness although I appreciate the thought, the hard work and winning words had nothing to do with me - you magicked them together.
