Tamworth results

Congratulations to all of our successful poets at Tamworth! The Blackened Billy results have been posted, as has the winning poem, a very moving piece by Brenda.

Catherine took out second place, with Tom third. Leonie, Shelley, Terry and Tom snaffled a couple of HCs each, and Mal made a welcome return to the competition scene. The remaining HC went to that remarkable nonagenarian (almost) Ron Stevens. And in the Golden Damper, Tom won the original and Sue came second in the established section. All in all, a very impressive showing by the members of this site!

Thank you so much everyone. I so much wanted to be there to accept the award in person and meet some more of you, but circumstances intervened at the last moment. Mannie has posted some wonderful photographs though. Congratulations to everyone, and long live the wonderful Blackened Billy competition!
