Post by Shelley Hansen » Sat Sep 05, 2015 9:19 pm

Sincere congratulations to David on winning the Kembla Flame written competition, as posted on ABPA Events & Results page.

What an intriguing poem title ... can't wait to read it :D

Congratulations David on your win and also Leonie, Shelley and Robyn.
The Kembla Flame is a real prize -- a beautiful flame-shaped glass trophy. Thank you to Zondrae and all in Illawarra for this great competition.

Thank you all for those generous thoughts. Zondrae has asked me to send the poem to Neil, and I'll post it here once the magazine has come out. And my congratulations also to Leonie, Shelley and Robyn!

Cheers
David

Thanks David. Have received the poem. And a big thanks to Zondrae for getting this comp up and going and working so hard to start it and build it into a much sought after prize. Great to see.

Congrats to all the other place getters as well.

Neil

Does that mean, after the magazine publication, that we can also have the poem for the main website Poetry collection David? :)

That's actually what I meant by "post it here", Brenda. I'll email it to you, or send it straight to Greg, whichever you prefer.

Cheers
David
