Kembla Flame

The Kembla Flame results were announced today at the Country Music Festival at theDapto Leagues Club..

First: ' A Colourful Encounter' by Brenda Joy
Second : 'Beyond The Rabbit Fence' by Terry Piggott
Third: 'Trough The Dreams Of A Child' by Brenda Joy

there were three Highly Commended certificates awarded.
'The Masters Of War' by Tom MacIlveen
'A Bloke Called Basil' by Terry Piggott
'Four Views Of An Australian Summer' by D Adams (NZ)

and three Commended Certificates.
'A Tribute To Kel , An Ignoble End' By Maureen Clifford
'Eureka Yields To Bingo' by Robyn Sykes
'Folding Fitted Sheets' by Bev Stewart.

For full judges report please see the next ABPA Magazine.

All trophies and certificates will be posted in tomorrows mail.
Thank you for your support as there were over 60 poems entered.

On the front page of the site H there is a section for events and results as well where the judges report can be posted as well.

Thank you for the congratulations and Hal's and mine to all the winners. It is great to see you up there again Maureen.

A special thank you to Zondrae and her team for running this competition and for overcoming the difficulties with the post office this year. Now you can get some well earned sleep Zondrae :D

Keep this competition in your diaries for next year because the trophy is truly beautiful -- I am SOOOOOOO lucky.
