Pt.Douglas QCWA poetry comp result.

Just a short note to let you all know that the 4th annual Port Douglas QCWA poetry competition has been drawn, this competition is open to any style & only has 1 winner, no 2nd's or 3rd's etc. & attracts entries from Oz wide.
This year the winner is...............ME!!!!...
I'm quite chuffed for as I understand from the lady who informed me of my win, there was some very good entries. I entered 4 bush poems & 2 free verse "bushie type" poems & one of my free verse poems was the winner.....

Oh always argue with them Dave it keeps them on their toes and you only have to let them win occassionally just to let them keep thinking they are superior.
