I don't know if there was a highest scoring novice in the humorous because i was supposed to be taking down names when they called mine out so I wasn't paying attention!

humerus is the bone in the upper arm,
humorous is what pedants are not when finding out spelling mistakes.

Into the naughty corner for me! Thanks for that Neville, I knew something wasn't quite right but I was so tired I'm surprised I didn't write knee bone! I promise I will not do it again.
I read my poem out at the concert on the last night. I was going to recite Another Day (Matt) but I was tired, the audience was tired and there was no microphone and the last thing I'd want to do is mess it up. So I decided to read my much shorter poem and it seemed to go down alright. I think I'll learn to recite it next.

Ha! Taking wagers are you Tom?
Let you into a little secret. The poem that got the novice certificate for at Corryong (and apparently some sort of mention at Tenterfield) I originally wrote when I'd been writing about 12mths - about November 2010. I've made a few changes here and there over time. I think my style of writing has changed a lot since then.
