A Tall Tale that maybe true

I was sitting by a campfire, where many tales are told
And I heard of one that I may mention, that’s if I maybe bold
You see, when God made cattle, they talked like humans do
There speech, was sort of common, but they talked like me and you
This tale was told about a great big bull, a roan he was by choice
He was talking to his sibling, in a rather deep but subdued voice
When his son he rudely interrupted him, just like children often do
Can you see those gorgeous heifers dad; gazing out this way?
I bet if we raced on over dad, I’m sure we’d serve a few today
What’s that you say old fella, has old age caught up to you?
Why is senility your master dad, because dad, it’s not like you?

Oh, I see, we’ll walk you say, and serve the whole darn lot.

Now god he was strolling by, when he heard that awful tale,

He ranted, raved, and jumped about; now I’ve heard it all he said

I can’t believe those very words, that you ill mannered beasts had said

Well now, repent you sinners. Or to the slaughter yard you’ll go

Sounds like a load of bull to me.
