I had the good fortune to spend some time on the Mississippi River fishing with my son-in-law's dad (not sure what that makes us) and his brother. Aptly named the 'Mighty' Mississippi ...

I once saw the Mississippi, we were up at about 20,000 feet. Too high for fishing.

I'd guessed they were Catfish, but I reckon you'd know you had that big one on.
Speaking of the Burdekin I worked at Kalamia Sugar Mill in Ayr as a young bloke - long, long ago.
