Sorry Robyn, postcards are not for me.
I'm not a fan of Haiku, I think they are more suited to their original language setting and style, like sitting in an oriental garden just meditating, something that I think is foreign to our culture. We are always on the move.
There's an Australian poet who does lots of Haiku; Andrew Lansdown. He even does rhymed Haiku and poems with several stanzas in which each stanza is a Haiku.
