Reminder - Toolangi C. J. Dennis Poetry Competition

Just a reminder that the closing date for the Toolangi C. J. Dennis Written Poetry Competition is approaching fast - 7th September (C. J. Dennis' birthday).
This year, for the first time, there is a cash prize for the best poem for children written by an adult AS JUDGED BY CHILDREN.
The theme for the themed section is "The Moods of Ginger Mick", because 2016 marks the centenary of the publication of this Australian classic that did much to create the Gallipoli myth. (It also sold 70,000 copies in its first four years of publication, which is not too shabby.)
The festival will take place this year on the weekend of 22nd and 23rd October.
