MISSING PERSONS' BUREAU

Post by Brenda Joy » Sun Apr 29, 2012 10:43 am

Hello everyone,

In my endeavours towards getting the Poetry Section of the ABPA Website collated, I have some 'missing persons' - well missing from my list of contacts anyway. If anyone has details of how I can reach any of the following, I would really be grateful if you would pm me the info. This is the first step of my tracing research - I know they are out there!

Brian Beesley
Arthur Green
Gary Harding
Keith Lethbridge
Allan Mackay
Matthew Mc Loughlan
Valerie Read
B.J. Stirling
Dean Travaskis
Ed Walker
Veronica Weal

Thank you so much to anyone who can help with anyone.

Brenda,

I have sent Veronica (Ronnie) Weal an email and asked her to get in touch with you.

Hi Brenda.

Edited by the Admin ...

Sorry Val, it's best to send that sort of info via PM (This section of the Forum is open to the World) ... It's also best to ask the individual's permission before making their email addys available.

Cheers,

Manfred ... :)

G'day Brenda, this may be a stoopid question but what do you mean about getting the Members Poetry collated, what is it you are going to produce. ?

G'day Manfred,
Considering the edit - best I reword my initial request to ask if anyone can help me reach any of these people that they contact the poet themselves first and ask that poet to contact me.
Thanks for the advice.

G'day Neville,
The 'Poetry Section' of the ABPA Website is for the display of first prize winning poems in ABPA affiliated or approved open level competitions. As there are only a few poems on this site at present, I approached Manfred and offered to collate together all the details and poems, from 2008 onwards, that qualify for inclusion. I'm ploughing through this task. Once they are collated it will then be up to Manfred as both President and Web Master to transfer the information to the Poetry Section as he decides. I am not the editor or the decision maker just someone doing a service.

Cheers to you all,
Brenda

Brenda,

It is people, like yourself, that toil away behind the scenes of an organisation that will make the whole thing work.

For all your efforts, I say 'THANK YOU'
