Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray thee Lord my Soul to keep.
If I should die before I wake,
I pray thee Lord my soul to take.
If I should live for other days,
I pray thee Lord to guide my ways.

I took it that Stephen means, now that our bush poets forum is about to fizzle out, nothing more to say .

Perhaps except, last one ; turn out the lights and shut the door.

Perhaps those that do not want to contribute on a regular basis may think so Nev.

But there are those of use who will always have a light burning.

Just my own stats Bob, I have posted 6435 posts, apparently an average of 3.25 per day and I have posted over 200 poems.( not award winners alas ) There are award winning members cleverer than me who never post anything.

I thought that the prime activity of an association was to associate. This forum is a simple method for members of a widespread association to keep in touch. But interest seems to be miniscule and fading.

It just seems that the day is coming Bob, that it is not a matter of not wanting to contribute but that there will be nothing to contribute to.

Maybe we should run an on-line competition with a juicy prize, that might spark some interest. :o

No need to get all defensive it was just a general comment and if the cap fits some then they can wear it.

We do that every fortnight Nev it is called homework.

As many have said it produces many prize winning poems so what more could you want ?
