Sorry Bob and Maureen, I've tried but can't seem to get my head around this set of prompts.

The Muse must be on holidays ... or maybe I'm just too much of a city girl!!

Cheers, Shelley

No problem stepping out of the comfort zone, Bob ... simply lack of knowledge of all of the subjects to which these prompts point!! Nothing comes from nothing, as they say :)

There is a big difference between getting out of your comfort zone and going stupid Neville.

And you think that I have experience in that area Shelley ?

I research things that I want to write about and so it not only allows me to write but to expand my knowledge at the same time.

I agree Bob, although having no spare time to research something I have no interest in writing about, is my excuse for not contributing. As I get older I have to put more time into writing and memorising the things in life that really do excite me!

Bloody Mad and busy season up here in Charters isn't helping either!

I have no idea of your areas of expertise Bob - though I have no doubt they are many!

Yep, research is what it's all about - I agree. I think we all do our share of that. I guess it comes back to where (on which subjects) we choose to invest our energy ... and we're all different in that respect - which makes for the eternally fascinating variety of our craft :D

Cheers, Shelley
