I remember your poem and album, Mannie called " Call me Mate ''. About retaining our unique culture.
I shuddered to find in our local paper today an ad for US brand party food that featured a man wearing an "Uncle Sam ' type top hat emblazoned with the design of the US flag.
The ad said in large letters " Celebrate the 4th of July "
Are they INSANE !!! We would be if we get taken in by that.
What has that got to do with Australia.
I've written to the Editor of the paper.
