Never Forgotten

Almost 4 years ago since I lost Rita Treka a wonder lady and poet I have asked her daughter to send me some of her poems and will post them for you all to read.

Rita made all her own costumes out of recycled cloths and made my favourite vest for me. We were a great team at festivals and events.

The board behind in her picture is a selection of her home made earings made once again from recycled goods.

Lost but never forgotten.

What a gorgeous looking lady, Bob, who obviously had a beautiful spirit. I look forward to reading her poems. Sad for you with her loss, but glad for you that you had her in your life. Cheeers mate.

Thanks Glenny I first met Rita at the Village Festival in Yeppoon she performed one of her poem " Does Your Pussy Go A Roaming " a poem about feral cats of course.

I said to myself I gotta get to know this lady and from then on we became close friends.

Never seen anyone who could enthral an audience like her especially the men lol.

Cheers Bob

Four years already Bob? What seems like yesterday can often also seem like a million years ago. The love never diminishes and we hold tighter to the special memories.

Such a bright and cheerful looking lady Bob. As Matt remarked there's a look of mischief in her eyes. I too look forward to reading a few of her poems.
