auto spell check

Ok, a boring computer question from one who isn't very good at working out how to change things.

I've got Windows (think its 7? Might be 8?)and it does the auto spell check with Good Ole U.S of A spelling and it pisses me off. It automatically will change something like " I realised the colour" to "I realized the color" and I'm sure there is a way of changing it to UK English (or perhaps even Strayan but doubt it). This stands out to me so much I realised part of Hal's President report in the last mag had "organization". It's no big deal but if someone knows how to fix it easy it'd be appreciated.

Cheers, Marty

ps. Another I know has been touched on as well, how do you stop each line beginning with a capital?

What about the capitals thing Bob? I tried to work it out for Marty and now I managed to change my no capitals each line (in Word) to capitals each new line and now it won't let me change it back :(

why is it that men have to change things that work ?

Now I don't know whether to attempt anything Heather has recommended ;)

My language is fine Bob, it's the rotten capitals that's the problem (in Word). It allowed me to change it one way but once that was done the option to change totally disappeared. Tis ok though as I have a computer expert son and he will sort it out - that's what kids are for. :)
