Last Sunday I joined the Victorian Folk Music Club's "Billabong Band" to perform at the Hurstbridge Wattle Festival.

I have posted a report on my blog, here:

Lagerphone :o what happened to your expertise on the banjo. :)

You have a very good memory, Neville! My expertise on the banjo rather withered in the sapling stage. Fortunately, my son has picked up the baton for me. The lager phone is sufficient for now, though I do have a vague hankering to learn the piano...

That is a nice blog photo Stephen, with the VFMC.
Folk/Bush music is great isn't it. I think the lagerphone is a more important instrument than the banjo, so you have made the right choice.

I thought a colaphone might be more appropriate for family entertainment, Manfred (acacia wondering...).

Thanks, Gary.

G'day Stephen,

Don't you think a piano is a bit heavy to cart to gigs? Next you should try a Kazoo. (I had to struggle not to put Ukulele)
