WOW Is it just up here ? A month ago I caught a three metre Carpet python half into my top knot pidgeons cage then Last week I caught three green tree snakes at work and dutifully relocated them then last week I removed a metre long Carpet python from my finch cage ( unfortunately no finches survived ) Now tonight my Indian ring neck was swarking and I got to a two metre Carpet python just in time the parrot was putting up a good fight for only having one eye.

Is this just up here ? or are they out everywhere ?

Nope, not just up there Bob. I've relocated two carpet snakes from my bird aviary in the past couple of months. The available snake menu was zebra finches - plentiful, canaries in short supply. The canaries are in even shorter supply now - zero. :(

They are really beautiful creatures but I just wish they would stick to rats and frogs and leave my birds alone. Only have quails left now Leonie .

They're stocking up for their winter semi hibernation period perhaps - I haven't seen any here but I'm not naive enough to think they are not around - constant worry with the girls - sorry to hear you lost all your canaries Leonie :(

Better keep your eyes on those kids.....

I saw a black snake in my garden a few weeks ago. He's hiding there somewhere. :(

I hate snakes - I'd be freaking out big time if I had one as big as that hanging about Marty. Poor little Wallaby - surprised he got her though would have thought a roo/wallaby far too quick to get caught. Must have snuck up when she was asleep
