Good to hear from you Kym. Unfortunately I have a poetry book collection that rivals yours, I just can't squeeze anymore in..well..maybe one..or two.

Apologies to go off the track ( as usual  ) but looking at your list , I see a book called the Australian Bush Poets Association Annual. Now that is interesting, what is that about and who compiled that one.

Hi Neville,

They are both very modest little books, simple cardboard covers and stapled.

The Ninth Annual's first inside page says, "An anthology of poems selected from the many sent during 2002 to the editor of the Australian Bush Poets Magazine. Copyright of all poems remains the property of the individual authors. All authors are members of the Australian Bush Poets Assoc. President: Frank Daniel. Compiled by Ron Selby."

The 10th Anniversary Annual says, "An anthology of poems selected from the poets attending the Inaugural meeting to form the Australian Bush Poets Association ... and then the rest is the same", but it sounds like you had to go to Tamworth that year to get it the book? Interesting, hey?

It's like the history of who's who as far as writers went each year, I guess ...

It seems a pity that the idea of a members annual didn't last. Might be something to bring up at the AGM at Tamworth.
