I'm ORF!

Post by Glenny Palmer » Sat Dec 21, 2013 5:39 pm

Well...the best laid plans of men & mice.....I was going to amble down to my family at a leisurely pace (9hrs of it) for Christmas...but....last night I was staggering off to bed, with a china mug & my iPhone in my hand. As I am wont to roam around in semi darkness I didn't see the box on the floor, & over I went!! Skinned my knee & buggered 1 knuckle. So,that's not so bad, eh? The phone survived & the cup didn't smash & carve me up. However....I have sadly reached the stage of life where over zealous dentists remove teeth. Namely 2 of my best front ones. (I look like bloody Brer Rabbit now.) You see I also had my pearly new partial plate in my hand. When I finally turned on a light, what did I see? My dental plate scattered in 3 pieces all over the place. Lucky for me my dental prostheticist or whatever they call them, has promised to see me at 8am on Monday....big relieved sigh...So it's tear around here & chuck everything willy nilly into the car & scoot!!

So my dear friends I have absolutely no time to send off the funny email season's greetings that I had planned to do....so I wish a HAPPEEEE CHRISTMAS to my bonza versifying mates...& a bonza New Year.
God Bless you all
Love Glenny

Ta lots Robyn. Happy Christmas to you too. :D

Mr Pacey. WHEN will you learn to reduce your pics & 'soften' them down a tad....  BTW thanks for your art work but they're the wrong two teeth! (watch out for karma when you're tucking into the mixed nuts Bobbity)..
Have a bonza Chrissy mate...

G'day Glenny,

Never a dull moment! at least you know you are still alive.

Thanks for the warning, I always wander about in the dark. I'll have to remember to take a little torch to bed with me.
What s the old saying? Fore warned is fore armed? or is that supposed four armed?

Get them fixed Pronto!! We can't have you turning up to the Longyard looking like Granny Clampett. We leave that for Jack Drake!! lol

Be more careful and always carry a kerosene lamp and a some dynamite.

Merry Christmas

Neil

All sorted 2day thanx 2 my over amorous dental tech. I've had some memorable 'hits' on me but a 36 yr old? Settle down sonny I said. (Oh but it does the old esteem no damage.) :D Yeah Neil I did think of leaving it 4 the image value at the Longyard but vanity won out. xx

I've heard about doctors that get a little hot under the collar (and other places) Glenny, but a dental tech? That's a first for me.
Enjoy your Christmas Glenny.
