Last night's dream

Post by Stephen Whiteside » Tue Oct 22, 2013 8:37 am

I had a very strange, but rather wonderful dream last night.

It was all a bit mixed-up, as they always are.

I was with a large bunch of people in a ski resort. We all got frozen in and, for some reason, that was a problem. I volunteered with a small group of others to go and get help.

For some reason, we did a reccy in a boat on a lake first, then retreated to a large room somewhere. I developed a slightly uneasy feeling that nobody seemed to be in any great hurry to get the rescue mission underway.

Then the musician Paul Kelly was beside me. He hypnotised me with a couple of sticks, a bit like chopsticks, that he held together, and pointed at my temple. I began to levitate until my head touched the ceiling.

My daughter was beside me, and I said something to her like, "See, I told you I could levitate. It's not that difficult."

Then I discovered, somewhat to my alarm, that my heels were only about six inches off the floor. It was obviously a very low ceiling. Still, I reassured myself, it was still levitation.

As I came back down onto the ground again, my daughter ran towards me and we embraced. The odd thing was, though, that my daughter, who is eighteen, was only about three years old in the dream.

I think I must have woken up then.

Analyses welcome.

Jack Daniels will do it every time!
No, seriously Stephen, if you would like me to analyse your dream for you forward a hundred bucks. I will probably be wrong but so will everyone else though you will at least have the comfort of knowing you were taken by a friend.

Thanks, Bob. She's not into Paul Kelly especially, but I am! (I met him once many years ago. A patient knew him, and offered to introduce me, but once she had, I couldn't think of anything to say!)
