Have we considered?

Post by Maureen K Clifford » Fri Sep 06, 2013 11:49 am

Just a thought (without wanting to go down the path again as to why our membership is becoming a bit static).......have ABPA considered a share button on the site where people can share to other media accounts ... Google+, FBook, Twitter etc. It would seem to me in view of the modern technology that we are all using these days that it would be a logical thing to do.

It is the most favoured method the younger ones use of communicating and to me it appears we are overlooking it's potential

Cheers

Maureen

Excellent idea, Maureen . . . but our muchly esteemed web mechanic/ El presidente was last seen in an New Orleans booze camp getting a neck tattoo after a 5 day bender.

I know this coz he said so on Facebook

Wll I'm just trying to get a bit of interaction going and cross referencing some sites with each other. The one thing I discovered when I started writing seriously was that I had no idea where to go with my writing and since I am not particularly dumb I would think other people have the same issues. It is easy to like a Facebook site and connect it onto an individuals FB and then their mates get to see it and so it goes - the ripple effect.

I reckon we all need to be a little more proactive - those of us with websites and FB/Twitter pages could on occassions be slotting the ABPA site details into our pages, sharing some of our mates work around amongst our group of friends. We are the voice- we are poets - we are wordsmiths - we have the knowhow and the skills and yet sadly we seem at times to speak in whispers
