Where do you get those Bob? Our A/C at work has broken down and the flies love the hot humid place with yummy food smells.

The truth of the matter ©

I was working in the garden,
like a naive, that was me.
And the sweat and I was partin,
for it was leaving me real free.

An the fly’s, were bloody lazy,
when they landed on my back.
Cause me shirt became real crazy,
with its colour now fly black,

And the sun was quite relentless,
shinning bright an rather hard.
And it seemed it couldn’t care less,
as I was workin in the yard.

And me sweat was flowing free'er,
in me eyes an down me back.
And fly's were getting worse'er,
crawling slowly down me back

An me trouser's was changin colour
from catching all me flamin sweat
an those fly's are full of valour
as they slowly crept down, you bet

when those fly's they all erupted
an they swarmed around me head
they should of been contented
But I farted there instead

Yeah at Bunnings H but you can make your own by cutting the top half off a one litre plastic soft drink bottle and inverting it in to the bottom half. Just put a bit of blood and bone mixed with water n the bottom.

Wish you could do the same for mossies

Did you post that poem in the wrong section Bill ?

well bob you was talking about fly's so I thought I'd join you lot, but I might have missed the spot. but we used to put fly cake around the stables and dairies on the top of 44 gallon drums and it was deadly stuff for them flies. and a couple of drops of kero in your water tank and wells fixed the mossies but nothing seems to work on sand fly's ( biting little fellows they are)
