You know it is really wet in the scrub when these guys move into the park.

Yep Curlews beautiful birds and very secretive.

They usually only come onto the sites around may to nest and i close off the site to allow them to hatch their brood in peace.

The creek behind the park is up and today i counted seven scrub turkeys sheltering behind the sewerage works. now they are pretty tough birds so it must be bloody wet out there in the bush.

Yes the bush stone curlew is the master of disguise indeed.
