Hope all our members are safe. See Quenbeayan took a hit last night with bad storms, the river at Theodore is rising, so is the one at Ipswich but no problems perceived here but I'm watching it. Bobs been mopping out at Yeppoon, Moreton Bay is on a storm surge alert and now we are sharing it with NSW.

Wherever you are people - stay safe, and make sure your animals are out of harms way as well - the snakes will be on the move trying to get away from flood waters.

And down in Victoria , Maureen, they are battling bush fires. One extreme to the other. :o
Every time I see these reports I just can't imagine what a horror it must be to have your home, that you have spent years getting together, just swept away or burnt up in a matter of moments.
I don't know how people can keep going on in those circumstances. It's very hard.

That it is Neville - 4 houses in my street are evacuating and shifting their furniture as we speak - all 4 only just finished renovating and repairing after 2011. It breaks your heart. My place should be right as they are predicting 1 - 2 metres lower than 2011 but my adrenalin is running on high I can tell you. I'll get the dogs out that's my main concern. Midnight tonight will be the teller with the expected flood peak then.

Fingers crossed

I saw Ipswich on the TV news. From this distance all we can do is hope for you.
Take care.

Geez, a girl goes away for the weekend and all hell breaks loose. Perfect, glorious weather at Newstead (Victoria,), brilliant moon lit nights to take your breath away and cold, cold nights! The world keeps spinning .... :)

Well Maureen, the maggies know the best place in the bad weather to stay safe and strong. On my verandah

Noisy things they are . :o
