Manfred!! Go to your room! From what Bob has told us, this delightful creature is shaping up to be the very first avian bush poet
on the planet....(when he/she gets around to creating rather than deleting...)......

Speaking of pidgeon English (spose that should have a capital P :) ). I overheard the following at an airport waiting room a few months back. These people were apparently on their way to New Guinea and may have been missionaries - do gooders of some sort anyway.

Pidgeon English for immaculate conception......."God come down, bugger up Mary." I kid you not!

Apologies to Neville..... :) ;)

Apologies to Bob for stealing Peppi's post - blame that Marty, as you always do, he started it..... :)

Reckon I'd like Pidgeon English.... :)

Well Peppi took off about three weeks ago and headed for the wide blue yonder. Now last week i was out walking at 4.30 am and low and behold about two blocks from home this top knot lands on the path and lets out a coooo. I cooo back and it goes berserk walks up and hops onto my arm then my shoulder and quiet happily gets a ride home where it is now a resident again.

I have reared several of them and never had one show such affection ???

He is free to go but will even sit on my arm chair as i read the paper in the morning. Still has not improved it's computor skill Glenny and will pick the keys on occassions so i cover the keyboard if I have something important on the screen.

Will post a pic when I get one.

Bob
