Woolies at Booval already has Christmas Cakes and Mince Tarts on display - won't they be a bit stale I think Probably not 'cause they'll get eaten and you then have to buy more, See that's a smart marketing strategy Neville.

Oh Neville can't we get over the last one before you remind us of the next one?

Nice to see kids in the park again on scooters , rip stick and such after four months of peace and quiet.

Forget about Chrissie Nev, between now and then the marketing guru's will get to us via Yom Kuppur, the Spring Equinox, Remembrance Day, the Footy finals (go the Hawks and Broncs) the Spring Carnival and Melbourne Cup.

That's all good . . . . not as nauseating as the seppo-ised Halloween and (to a lesser extent) Thanksgiving.

Christmas is a long bloody way off. I've got two kids birthdays, not to mention me own and me Mums before then too.

And on reflection . . . it's the 90th anniversary of Henry Lawson's death . . . . . . . . . . . . today
