Hellooo

Post by Heather » Sun Aug 19, 2012 4:23 pm

Hello poets. Just chillin in the warmth of Cooktown air (while there are floods back home) and enjoying some Pattie hospitality. Prawns for tea. It's a hard life but someone's gotta do it... sigh!

It's not hot Bob? It's warm-ish, has been raining and today is overcast. Need a jumper at night.

Anyhow, can't talk, got to go shopping for some new leaves......A girl's got to do everything 8-)

For Gods sake Heather, don't let them sell you leaves off that Gympie bush or whatever it's called
got swiped on the elbow with a bit many years ago near Yungaburra. Much, much worse than a stinging nettle and it still itched and burned months later.
Bad enough on the arm, let alone the privates! :(

It's the Gympie Gympie, Ron . . . whatever ya do, if caught short in bush, don't wipe the posterier with it - you'd hear the Yelps from here! :o

Heather is in fine hands ;)

Pictures will be posted in due course.

Fear not Ron, I'm gonna have leaves like Marty's! Got enough to worry about - what with biting green ants, frogs in the dunny, geckos on the walls, dogs that bring home dead cow bits - oh and did I mention the RAIN !! I came up here to get away from the rain. Even got a jumper on as we speak.

I've only got two hands though Bob. :o

They all wear leaves up here

Photos in due course!! ;)

And I'd like to point out that I am not in anybody's hands.,.,.

Sounds great Heather. Enjoy the warmth while you can... it's been cold down here!

Coolish here today too Robyn (even had to put shoes on) and blowing a gale so had to put clothes on else the leaves blow away. Well, actually the shoes were to protect me from the marauding plate sized spiders - but that's another story!
