Happy New Year Everyone, hope 2012 is very kind to you all. Ron and I celebrate 40 years of married bliss today and I wouldn't change a single thing. :D :D Yes, we've seen good times and bad, but we've always managed to overcome the hurdles and here we are today, stronger than ever, sharing our special day with family and friends. May there be many more. Our beautiful first daughter Melissa was born on our first wedding anniversary, so every year she gets to help us celebrate. Happy Birthday Mel, thanks for always being there. :) :)

Cheers
Sue

Goodonya Sue Happy New Year and a Happy Anniversary as well. Make you feel a bit special when you have had the good times and the bad and are still together after 40 or 50 years when so many marriages are falling to bits all around the place.

Congratulations.
Dave and Elaine.

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone. It seems like only yesterday we stood there taking those vows, how time flies. Someone asked me at the weekend what was the recipe for a long and lasting relationship and I recalled a statement my father used the day Ron asked for permission to marry me [yes, it's that long ago]"always take time to listen to one another and respect each others opinion", so far it's worked.

My favorite saying "love has no beginning or end, only an ongoing, ever-changing beauty of it's own"

Cheers
Sue
