MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AT ABPA

Post by Maureen K Clifford » Wed Dec 21, 2011 5:51 pm

A little thank you to all at ABPA. You have become valued friends over the years. Thank you all for your help, encouragement and for the laughter over the year. To you and yours may all have a joyous and safe Christmas and receive poetic inspiration a-plenty over the Christmas season.

What are you and the girls up to for Christmas, Maureen? Off to see family, or having family visit? We'll have a full house. Could be up to 17 hanging around for Christmas day ...

Thank you Neville and Kym. Mine should be peaceful as we have done the 'family' thing - twice

Just me and the girls Christmas day unless there are unexpected visitors and I am perfectly fine with that. Usually spend the morning making a few interstate and overseas calls to friends and UK rellies which is great, and ring family and friends here at home. A beer with the neighbours is always a nice interlude. Will catch up with my son and DIL on Boxing Day - same routine as the last 3 years and it works for us, but a camp by a river would work better   Actually come to think of it my camp is near a river so I have the best of both worlds don't I??? And no doubt my Magpie carol singers will arrive on cue and my Crow friends will arrive dressed in their Goth gear. :?

Thanks Marty. All the best. I wish I could go out by the river, sounds great.
Don't forget bush poets all own a little book to note down things for poems while out and about ;)
