The things you would least like to hear

Post by Dave Smith » Fri Dec 02, 2011 11:23 pm

You’re on holidays flying over seas and the pilot comes on and says “This is the Captain speaking now please repeat after me.”
“OUR FATHER THAT ART IN HEAVEN.”

When I was doing my apprenticeship, we had to do some work in an old church, as with many old churches the ceiling was raked up the roof until about halfway then a small ceiling space was created in the last bit of the roof pitch, I was up in the space running some cables when a mate of mine come to see me, the ceiling had three big mesh vents in it and I could see down into the church, as he gingerly entered the building, not knowing where I was, I boomed out through the vent..."This is the Lord speaknig"....this bloke nearly met his maker right there and then!..........I didn't really think I was the lord, by the way.... 8-)

Pretty close to the bone for me Dave... I was in the back of a four seater aircraft at 5000 ft when the pilot looked back and me, crossed himself and said... well I'm not sure if we are allowed to swear on this forum, but he said "We're f...."
