Whoa, what a day! My feet are killing me. I give Kym good advice -wear sensible shoes I say Kym - and what do I do - wore my favourite shoes, not my most sensible shoes -walked and walked and walked.

Kym had time to see the Shrine of Remembrance and St. Pauls this morning before my arrival. The navy had decided to put on a parade in our honour but unfortunately we had other plans and had to pass - lots and lots of men in uniformm.......

Stay tuned for incriminating photographs....

The tour started with a visit to St. George and the dragon...

Followed by some culture at the State Library of Victoria - a magnificent building. Saw the full body armour of Ned Kelly, one of his boots and his rifle...

Then somehow, things just got out of control...Kym lead me astray and we found ourselves in an unfortunate circumstance.

Like I said to the Sargeant ... Sergeant ... neither of them look right - the cop who arrested us - "It's HER fault ..." (pointing to Heather of course)!

Yeah Marty, I was wondering how uncomfortable it must have been for that rider. And how itchy would horse hair be in "those" places???

Personally I thought St. George had a lot going for him...

When I used to do the mug shots, the ID plate was on a bar attached to the camera. You wouldn't have had the mug hold the plate, likely to dong you with it. :)
When I was a junior junior, one of my jobs was cleaning up cells just like that, only the brown stains weren't just rust and they were fresh. Gaahhh. :(

Didn't you go to the Victoria Art Gallery. When I go to Melbourne I NEVER miss that place, one of the wonders of Australian cultural life, second only to the cake shops at St. Kilda.
