Julia's Problem

Very Taxing

Poor Julia's got it in her head to sell this carbon tax,
Flitting round the country side with no time to relax.
She thinks the job is easy and we will surley bend
to her way of thinking and will believe her in the end.

But it's really not the carbon tax that's driving us insane
And she would see the problem too if she had half a brain.
It's not the details of the tax or if we have to make a choice
The thing that niggles most is we can't stand her bloody voice.

Spot on as someone said. 'Tis indeed hard to listen to that voice but sometimes when she is not trying to be convincing and ceases to be condescending her voice is almost acceptable.
Can't help think that she is poorly advised.

Was in response to an article in the local paper describing her voice as bogan.

Makes me reach for the remote no matter what she has to say and always seems to be more head bobbing going on then a chicken dance !!!!

I reckon the remote control for television must rate amongst the top ten inventions of all time.
The rubbish you are able to eliminate with so little effort by using the remote is marvelous.
Hard to now imagine we used to constantly get up and down to change channels and how we used to suffer all those ads.

You are not wrong Vic. My on off button is broken at the monent so i just change it to a blank channell and drift off to sleep. Just tooooo hard to take those five steps to the TV.

Doing a recording of this on for Prime radio in the morning. Might make it to the Afternoon Agenda.
