Telstra troubles

Not sure who it was who started the poem about Telstra but thought it a little far fetched until I just spent 6 minutes hanging on the line with people talking in the background. Never even got to speak to a real person.

And they wanted me to hang on to fill in their customer service survey when I was finished ????

Skeletons can not talk.

I closed my account with Telstra. About 6 months later they sent me a bill for...$0.

I wondered if I didn't send a cheque for $0 that they would refer my default to a collection agency. I wish they had, beating up bureaucrats is so enjoyable.

My dealings with Telecom whilst out on the property and when my Dad died were such that had I been able to get my hands around their necks I would quite cheerfully have strangled them very hard, and nothing they have done since has caused me to change my mind. The only reason I don't change companies is that I am fearful of getting something worse.

Just where do these people come from. Doing my tax and recieved a statement from the bank for an investment account. Now I get a statement every month and it shows the interest ytd but the last one which is really the only one I need for tax purposes does not show this.

Sent an e mail to let them know that this was a problem and would require a trip into town to obtain the required info.

Their reply was that I should ring their online service between 7 am and 7 pm on weekdays and they would be able to assist.

No mention of my original problem and a note on the bottom that this was an automatically generated response and that any reply would go into a file that may not get responded to. They provided a comtact e mail and guess what it was the one I had originally sent the concern to.

Time for a change I think . But do I think that they will really car !!!!

I know what it's like Bob.

Try the ATO. I rang the tax department " assistance " line and read out to them couple of paragraphs of the taxation act. What DOES that mean, I asked. Their explanation was to recite back to me exactly the words I had read from the act. Logical

Thats when I gave up Irene. Was never very patient.

I rang the bank line today and got a very nice girl who agreed with me about the yearly interest. She is going to post out a statement with it on. Would have just been easier to have done that in the first place. I get three letters from the same bank every month with different accounts and all the other advert stuff in each one.
