Marty got it spot on Zondrae. Travel broadens our horizons - whether in our own country or overseas. If you travel you meet new people and understand their ways and their cultures. When there is understanding there is less likely to be predjudice. When there is understanding and tolerance there is less likely to be misunderstandings and in the extreme cases - war!
