While we are frittering away our time on trivialities, a third of the year has already passed. Only 208 sleeps to Christmas.

Most tv adds are an insult to our mentality.

In particular those produced by Colgate Palmolive.

The worst one by far Bob, is the Woolworths ad with that girl singing cheep cheep. Has she no self respect.

I see where a supermarket chain in England has decided to do away with self service checkouts and go back to more 8 item or less. The reaction from customers has been outstanding.



Perhaps if they concentrated more on good service they could do away with the cheaper prices advertising.


As you know Nev I was a supermarket buyer for 10 some years and the only person who pays for specials is the supplier.
