G/day Ron,
You live in a lovely part of the country mate; have had one brief visit a few years ago, just for the day.
If I happen to pass your way I will certainly look you up.

Regards,

Terry

G'day Bob,

Since I turned 65 everything wants to give up. It has been a hard road to keep all the joints working and beside that the old ticker is complaining.

Now this (I have decided) is not so much the birthday but the fact that I have hit 80kgs again. So off to the Gym (which I am loving more each time I go) and watch every mouthful, and get at least 5 kgs off before the next birthday.(no chance it's too close) well maybe by Christmas and make it 7kg. which really isn't too ambitious at 1/2 kg per week - every week.

Yesterday I did a Cardio-boxing class and then a Zumba class. That has been my usual Monday for the past 3 weeks. I also do Zumba on Thursday and Saturday. From 1st Sept I intend to increase the gym classes a bit.

I have also done 2 hours vigorous gardening (carrying water mostly) this morning. I am about to put on an exercise DVD and do some abdominal work. Oh, and I have written half a poem this morning. Communing with nature always gets my juices running.

G/day Zondrae,
I am the lightest I've been in years I'm about 85 kilo's now (6 foot 1 1/2 inches tall) all brought about by 3-4 months clambering up and down some pretty rugged hills and daily covering miles of country on foot. (I'm a mere shadow of my former self)
The next challenge will be to keep it off.

Cheers Terry

Your right Marty,
And I'm cursed with no willpower whatsoever when it comes to a nice meat pie or hamburger.
