What about Oma - I think it's Dutch? Or Yia Yia :?

You'll come up with something.

A mate of mine is "Grand-dude"

Most seem to handle the da sound very well so I reckon DuhDuh or perhaps not as it has other meanings ?????

Perhap a combination Duhda !!!

I however just love being called Grandad as it has a mark of respect as would Nana H

....try being called 'NanaGlen'...You suddenly become a town in northern NSW. (Better than my teenage ones call me...'Grannybum.') At the end of the day Heather, your little one will decide. No amount of my coaching ever got me 'GrandMother' which I thought was most upper class. :| Oh well...

xx Glenny

Heather, wait until they want to sleep over, our 2 grandaughters spent the night a few weeks ago & as usual I'm relegated to the spare bedroom, but this time the youngest (3 yrs) wanted to sleep with Grandad, which was fine, but in the morning I found out that my wife was woken in the weee! hours by a little girl holding onto 3 zuzu's a teddy & stuffed dog (footrot flats) saying "Grandma I want to sleep with you, Grandad's SNORING!!"....   ..love them eh!
