That's very true Neville. When I have been on committees, the best presidents were those that can delegate.

The essence of good management. Instruct, Deligate, Check, Check, Check and then check again.


Pick the right people train them well and get out of their way and let them do the job.

And when they stuff up, they are in the clear because the delegator gets the blame.

If the manager has to constantly check then the manager might as well do the job and everyone else can go to the pub.
