Please don't let this site fold, I do not post as much as I would like but I do have a read almost every day and am inspired to keep reciting and trying to win over the young people with some mild success.

Anyhow just keep on plugging.

What you really need is a bit of new blood to liven things up with a bit of keen enthusiasm - like we once seemed to have.
We have had the odd new face over the years; Alan has been a more recent one and has been a great contributes on a regular basis.
I guess a few of us are also starting to feel the years as well.
There have been several attempts to jazz the forum up with more options - not sure you can do much more except post a few more of our precious poems and to hell with consequences.
Discussions seem to have almost dried up - perhaps we think we know it all?
To be fair though we have raised and rehashed numerous subjects.

To the handful dedicated people who try to keep the forum interesting - I dips me lid.

Cheers Terry

The forum is always quiet over the school holiday periods and public holidays - I wouldn't read more into it than perhaps there is and risk throwing the baby out with the bathwater

That's true Maureen,
But to be honest I think you're grasping at straws.
It seems to me that amid the odd flurry, there are pretty long periods of little activity.
I just think people find other interests that take up more of there time.
That's why it's important to have a steady trickle of new (not necessarily young) forum members,
who bring with them the kind of enthusiasm that most of us once had.

Cheers
