Just saw a little boy of about 7 years with a pumpkin he could hardly carry it was so huge, and while i don't agree with us taking on Amercian customs, i can see how it would be fun to make a lantern out of a pumpkin. The vege shop is doing a good business and i expect there might be pumpkin on the menu for some weeks to come. :)

Neville i think your pity is misplaced. I think you put yourself in that little boy's shoes. He looked very happy. :)

Well Marty, Heather ( and Matt ;) ) all I have to do is go to church on Sunday and I'll find it all there; theatre and pagan ceremonies. ;) ;) :)

Actually as I later recalled there used to be a bottle of beer put out for Santa in my childhood as well.. which used to be gone in the morning. Proof positive of his visit I guess.!

.. but with all the presents to be opened it did not get more than a moment's thought....
