I think the mind is everywhere in the brain.

I will ask my Minder. She's a bit of a brain.

I was reading recently that octopuses have at least half of their neurons in their tentacles, so their 'brain' is highly decentralised. They're not stupid, either.

Keats, does your wife keep her brains in her ankles?

I refuse to answer on the grounds that I may incriminate myself! (And get another smack in the ear!)

...could be Zondrae....according to Eastern Dogma instructors the soul resides in the hypothalamus, hence their referrals to 'The Third Eye'.....

Apparently the question re the brain/mind is still being debated and according to Wikipedia:
"The question, then, is how it can be possible for conscious experiences to arise out of a lump of gray matter endowed with nothing but electrochemical properties..."
Zondrae, I don't know the answer to your question but I suspect it may depend upon your religious beliefs.
I seem to remember reading that in bygone days some religions believed the soul was contained within the heart!
I find it hard to look at a picture of a brain and to imagine that somewhere within that lump of matter there existed the ability to devise a computer or design the Sydney Opera House or invent a machine to take us to the moon! It's a lump of meat!

Maybe there are some things we are not meant to understand.... :)

No, it's not a lump of meat, Vic. Far from it.

Go to Google images and search "electron microscope human brain". Some pretty interesting images pop up.
