Fanfaronade
If you receive an accolade,
perhaps a sugared cavalcade
of compliments, a grand parade
of sweet-tongued words, a soft cascade
of honey-balm to serenade
a weary soul who’s underpaid
by life’s depressing masquerade,
then why not start a great crusade
and seize the moment, unafraid,
to quaff some fizzy lemonade
and tell the world you’ll make the grade,
with all your confidence displayed
in one immense fanfaronade?

Quite right Bob, you didn't say short words. I assumed I suppose that words that are hard to understand and spell are usually the longer ones ( Polysyllabic words
That's it David. A polysyllabic poem .
