Good for you mate, I intend to try and semi retire next year too, if you are coming through the Alice in the next six months we may catch up, otherwise I will be living in Port Lincoln in SA!

Re: Retirement
G/day Dave,
We are hoping to catch up with you and Elaine in the near future mate.
I will be down at Harvey on Fri/Sat for the opening of the trout season,
mostly to catch up with a few old friends and to raise our glasses in memory of a mate we lost last year.
Cheers Terry

Re: Retirement
G/day Ross,
This retirement thing is starting to turn into a bit of an epidemic mate.
I guess we all start thinking that if we don't start doing a few of those things we talk about,
we just may run out of time to do them.
Like to catch up with you Ross, as mentioned we haven't a set plan of being at any place on a given day (well maybe Tamworth).
We hope to just move as the mood dictates with no schedule to keep to.
Haven't been to the Alice for many years now, I guess things have changed a lot since them,
If we miss you there, Port Lincoln fairly handy for us as we cross over from the west.
Regards Terry

Re: Retirement
Good on you Terry. As I mentioned in another thread, Ron and I are taking on the manegment of the local caravan park where I work, so when you get your convoy sorted, make sure you put Tumut on your agenda. Knowing how much you like fishing Terry, and the river right at hand, you may never leave AND we could have some great poeting sessions.
All the best to you and Val, Terry.
Cheers

the door is always open, the kettles always on, my shoulders here to cry on, i'll not judge who's right or wrong.

My sentiments exactly Terry ...Terry wrote: I guess we all start thinking that if we don't start doing a few of those things we talk about, we just may run out of time to do them.
The itiniary's already filling fast, a few local festivals before Christmas then Tamworth. After Tamworth, off to the West(Boyup Brook). Hook up with some Mates in Kalgoorlie before heading up the Centre (by way of Port Lincoln if you're there then Ross?) ...

Hi Manfred,
Believe it or not, for one reason or another I haven't managed to get to Boyup Brook so far.
I reckon you'll have a great time while you're over here.

G/day Matt,
Yep still plenty there mate, but whereas there is a fair bit of water between each trout, there's also a lot of dirt between nuggets.

Hope to be doing something simliar in the next year or so, after 47 years of laying bricks I definately have the 'tired' , just have to find the re.
If you' in the Blue Mountains the kettle's always attached to the doorbell, or the fridge
