G'day all...
Wet,wet,wet here too.
We are due to leave on wednesday heading for Hay in the Riverina. I'm starting to wonder if I might have to approach Hay from Adelaide via the coastline! Flooding in Central and South-west NSW and inland Vic. Maybe I should borrow a tinny from someone?

Heave Ho, me hearties!

Oh Dear, Oh Dear, Apologizes to Heather I have now seen the photos, I once rode out a cyclone
At Mt Newman, I was running a shift at night and sent all the boys home except a dozer driver
He and I work through the cyclone building walls to keep the water out of the power house, not fun, my poor wife and family had to stay at home and fend for them self, we talk about it some time and think OMG did we really do that.

Do you think we need new carpet dear?
The mice are swimming in the corner here.
Are those cockroaches on the floor?
No dear they’ve all been washed out through the door.
(Not funny sorry I can’t help it)

We are still in the dust, I thought I saw a cloud yesterday but it was only smoke from the bush fire.
Oh well if we keep the windows shut we don’t get to much dust.

Our little bit of water is nothing to what is happening up north. A bit of wet carpet is all. It hasn't rained for two days now! Pity it doesn't go around evenly hey Dave?

An old fairy tale..

"Now you see that big black cloud over there, sonny? It has lots of water in it. We don't need it so, you go get your bike, I'll lasso the cloud and you can tow it over the mountain to where it is needed".

"That won't work! The cloud will slip out of the noose."
"Well I'll just have to borrow some sky hooks to make sure you've got a tight grip, won't I."
