Yes Sir, Mr Briggs Sir, I received your cheque. Thank you.

Do you want a receipt? I used to post out the receipts, but don't any more unless people request them - it's just a way to keep costs down. If I posted out 500 receipts, it would cost $300 plus envelopes, and most people don't want them, so why spend the club's money? These days I only post out the ones people ask for. But I can and will post it if you need/want it ... just lemme know.

What's this "Sir" business Kym ??

No I don't need a receipt, it's just that when you mentioned a fault with the applications and I didn't have a receipt to confirm my acceptance, I thought I should check. As Marty has gleefully pointed out, I have senior moments ( not a grammatical error, Marty , a mishap in editing ;) so I could have left something off my application.

I noticed Kym, that Manfred has some concerns about revenue for the ABPA, hopefully you will get a good roll up of membership subscriptions.

Ah ha! Mystery solved! The unnamed deposit has been claimed, complete with deposit receipt, so sorry Bob, you can't claim it any more. You'll just have to pay up now!

Loving all the mail I'm receiving. 14 envelopes yesterday, 21 today. Some people put in letters or cards - thank you to everyone to takes the time to write me a short note!

:D

Ah Ha Neville the old SWMBO syndrome.

I call myself the marriage councillor as I have saved many a marriage by directing the backing of the van.

A lot of women say to me How come he does not swear at you.

Pfffttthhhh ... no man should need help reversing! I can back horse floats, 1 tonne crane, tipping trailer. I don't need anyone to guide me. I know to stop when I hear the **crunch** or see the shed start to lean ... Just joking, I'm a good backer-upper.

Kym I do not have a site post or water tap that has not been hit at some time.

The communication between husband and wife in backing a van onto site is fragile to say the least.

I can understand where they are coming from as i give clear instructions and they do the bloody opposite.

Hey They want a poetry show next week as a campfire bbq want to come ???

Rightyo, date and time? I assume at the van park? Can Malcolm come along too? He's really enjoying performing poetry now!
