Marty glad to see that there are uses for ex harness horses that don't make the grade, trotters or pacers but I would recommend you place a set of bell boots on here and a set of shin guards because when they start to get a bit tired or leg weary they often have a tenancy to brush on their shins or stand on their onion results if that happens your horse could be out of action for a while. I know as I used to own and train and drive Pacers and Trotters and it used to hurt me when I could not place them in a good home.

beware how much corn you give her as it builds up fat around the heart though it creates energy harness horses are far more resilient than most thoroughbreds and have greater endurance. I had four in work at a time at the most Though I had more When I was breaking them and gating them but four in race condition was more than enough mine got 1 hour work on my own track and then 1/2 hour on walking machine at home for 6 days and only walking machine for one hour on day 7 . on race days it varied. She looks good even though a little on the small size
any idea what her heart score is as my mares were from 113 - 116 stallion and geldings 116 -120

Sorry Marty, when I see that photo, I think that I am sure to stick to my carbon polluting little car with the heater and soft seat. :)

Congratulations on your fourth place Marty and Effie. Quite an effort. Like the photos - just like in the olden days! :)
