The sexual act of taking human or dog excrement, rubbing it on ones face in the shape of a mustache and "chinstache", and refusing to wash it off for extended periods of time.
That kid jonah was doing the donah last school year until we got tied him down and washed it off of him. Man, that kid LOVES shit on his face.

I'm not sure if that was what Banjo Paterson meant when he penned these two lines:

Where the "blokes" might take their "donahs", with a "public" close at hand?

If it was what he meant, it certainly gives the lines a new, disturbing meaning.

Hey Marty (FNQ) there are still a few copies of “Aussie English” by John O’Grady (1965) Aka Nino Culotta about but it’s a bit modern for the words you have posted here.
