If you want to put a link to another website in, you need to hit the button that says URL above the box where you enter the text to post. This will put something in your text box that looks like this (URL)(/URL) - only it will be with square brackets. If you have a separate browser window open, or are familiar with using a different tab in your browser, another tab, you can copy the address of the other website from the address bar using the highlight and copy function. You can then paste it in between the brackets, so you have something that looks like this: (URL)http://www.website.com/directory/page.html(/URL). The link should then function when you finish making your post.
